John R. Ash, President and Chief Executive Officer, is a nationally registered EMT-Paramedic with over 30 years of experience in the fire and EMS industry. A cum laude graduate of King's College, Wilkes-Barre, Mr. Ash has both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Health Care Administration, with areas of specialization in Public Health, Emergency and Ambulatory Care, and Physician Practice Management. He is a Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC), and PhD candidate specializing in Business & Leadership. He resides in Sweet Valley, Pennsylvania with his family, and is an active member of the Sweet Valley Fire Company and the Sweet Valley Ambulance Association. Mr. Ash is also a life member of the Kingston Township Ambulance Association in Shavertown, and is a staff Paramedic with the Geisinger Health System. He holds memberships in the National Association of EMT's, the National Association of Flight Paramedics, the National Association of EMS Educators, the American Ambulance Association, the Ambulance Association of Pennsylvania, and the American College of Health Care Executives. He is also an instructor in Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and a Pennsylvania EMT Instructor. He serves as a faculty member at College Misericordia, Dallas, PA, and Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, PA. Wendy S. Sartin, Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) and Senior Billing Specialist. Wendy is an EMT with the Jenkins Township Ambulance Association, and has over 18 years of EMS experience. She resides in Jenkins Township, PA with her husband who is Firefighter Paramedic with over 30 years of experience. Patrica T. Ash, Patricia, Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC), serves as Vice President of Operations. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of King's College, Wilkes Barre PA where she earned a Bachlor of Arts Degree in Education. She is a member of the American Society of Training and Development. She has also earned certifications from New York University (NYU) to conduct online instruction and from Leadership Management, Inc. for all of their product types. She also serves as a certified faciliator for Managing Personal Growth, and various other leadership programs, and is certified by Price, Waterhouse, Coopers as a business continuity planner. In addition to her education, she has over ten years of experience working in the Health Insurance industry. Patricia resides in Sweet Valley, PA with her husband John and their three children. Jane Firestine, Jane is part of our billing support staff. She has a wide variety of vital duties including mail preparation, document imaging, and filing of customer remittance files. She is a board member of the West Pittston Community Ambulance Association and is very active with other civic organizations in her community. She has extensive experience in business and the banking industry. |
